Mary Maedler Biography:

What makes a girl from East Germany come to the Wild West? Well, honestly – I’ve been asking myself that same question. And just like in Sunday school, there’s only one correct answer: Jesus. When I prayed, “Jesus, you can have my life – I want to do what you want me to do” I didn’t know I would one day end up here on the Rez. But now that I am here, all I can say is: God’s will is perfect. I am very blessed to be here.

Well, among some other things I sure miss the German bread. But I’ve traded this bread for the joy of serving God among a people that really needs to receive the bread of life! There’s no knowing what God will do with your life when you surrender it wholly to him, but I do know I can always trust him for giving me a life worth living.
